West Delhi

West Delhi is a district in the Union Territory of Delhi in India. The district is bounded in the north by North West Delhi District, in the east by North Delhi District, and Central Delhi District, in the south by South West Delhi District, and in the west by Haryana.

Total area of the district is 131 sq km. The populations as per census 2011 is 2,543,243. There is one statutory town. Then number of census towns are 11. There are only two villages in the district.

There are three tahsils in the district namely Punjabi Bagh tahsil, Patel Nagar tahsil, and Rajouri Garden tahsil.

The headquarters of the district and its two tahsils Patel Natar and Rajaouri Garden are located in Saraswati Vihar tahsil of North West Delhi District.
